These are the ministers of the Union and SPD if Merz becomes Chancellor

After the Union, the SPD has now presented its list of ministers in the future government under Friedrich Merz. Lars Klingbeil is set to become the new Finance Minister and Vice Chancellor. The Defense Ministry will continue to be led by Boris Pistorius. Labor and Social Affairs will go to Bärbel Bas, Development to Reem Alabali-Radovan. Carsten Schneider will be the new Federal Environment Minister. Verena Hubertz will become the Minister of Construction. Stefanie Hubig will take over the construction department.
