Visiting the School Chickens of Fürstenstein Elementary School

The elementary school students in Fürstenstein (Passau district) take care of four chickens and a rooster in the specially built chicken coop. They not only feed them but also clean out the coop. They learn a lot about the feathered pets in class as well. Every day, a different student takes an egg home. Whether scrambled eggs, fried eggs, or pancakes - a proud smile is always visible.
