Supporters gather to celebrate as South Korea's Lee poised to win presidency
Thousands of supporters of South Korean presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung gather in front of the National Assembly in Seoul to celebrate as he is poised to win a snap presidential election by a wide margin. With almost 50 percent of the votes counted, Lee of the left-leaning Democratic Party leads with 49.01 percent, followed by challenger Kim Moon-soo of the conservative People Power Party (PPP) with 42.62 percent.
