On Wednesday (January 4, 2023), a traffic accident occurred on the A3 between the Wiesentheid and Kitzingen/Schwarzach junctions. A 23-year-old female truck driver lost control of her tractor-trailer loaded with beer bottles, broke through the center guardrail and overturned on the driver's side onto the oncoming lane. The driver sustained minor injuries in the accident.
