Delmenhorst is located directly west of Bremen and has approximately 80,000 inhabitants. The landmark is the 44-meter-high water tower. The Delme river flows directly through the city center and also supplies the watercourses in the green areas of the Graft with water. A water castle was built on the castle island as early as the 13th century. Today, Delmenhorst is an industrial location with sectors such as linoleum production, mechanical engineering, and food production.
