What is the difference between Bundestag and Bundesrat?

The Bundestag is the German parliament and is located in Berlin. Here sit the parliamentarians elected by the eligible voters. The Bundesrat is the second chamber of parliament, also part of the legislative branch. Through it, the federal states participate in legislation and administration and represent their interests.
