Every year, countless residues of medications ranging from painkillers to antibiotics end up in the environment through excretions, partially unfiltered. To be able to filter out at least a part of them, a team from the Center for Environmental Research and Sustainable Technologies (UFT) at the University of Bremen is now researching practical solutions.
