Students participate in 'Global Clean Beach' action

Around eight million tons of plastic waste end up in the world's oceans every year. To raise awareness of this issue even among the youngest, there was a large cleanup action on Wednesday. Children from around the globe collected garbage. In Hannover, 14 kids from a 7th grade class also took part. The 'Global Beach Clean' action is organized once a year by Sea Life.
