SALOME by Augentheater der Zukunft

Source: TV21 AUSTRIA (Glomex)

This is the story of a 16-, maybe 17-year-old girl who comes on stage and says that she can't stand it at home anymore because her stepfather keeps leering at her. We enter a point in Salome's life that is a turning point. It is the moment when she - according to her age - begins to think independently, begins to rebel against her parents, begins to grow up. Since Salome grew up in this family without moral values, it is clear that she now confronts her parents in an equally immoral way. The theater group 'Augentheater der Zukunft' consists of young artists under the direction of the young director Sebastian Kranner and shows Oscar Wilde's play from the perspective of the young title character in a claustrophobic setting. Trauma processing without taboo. After Oscar Wilde in a version by Sebastian Kranner
