Polestar 3 sets Guinness World Record for longest distance driven

The large electric SUV Polestar 3 has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled by a single charge of an electric SUV. With a distance of 935.44 km, the recently introduced Long Range Single Motor variant set a new benchmark. The attempt lasted 22 hours and 57 minutes under changing weather conditions, including rain. The Polestar 3 achieved a consumption of 12.1 kWh/100 km. The professional efficiency drivers Sam Clarke, Kevin Booker, and Richard Parker took turns every three hours to maintain concentration. The Polestar 3 reached its WLTP value of 706 km with 20% battery capacity remaining. It even traveled an additional 13 kilometers after the display already showed zero percent – but reached a charging station in time without coming to a final stop.
