Comprehensive Update - Mercedes-Benz EQS now with upright star and even more range

Since its launch, Mercedes-Benz has continuously developed the EQS and its siblings. Regardless of model updates and faster than ever before, innovations have been incorporated into the EQS, EQE, EQS SUV, and EQE SUV series. With numerous product upgrades, the company has responded more quickly than ever to market and customer feedback. For the current model year 2024, the EQS now receives an extremely comprehensive update package. The electric flagship comes with up to 82 kilometers more range, a new radiator grille with chrome applications and an upright Mercedes star on the front hood, as well as even more comfort in the rear. The EQS has always been one of the electric cars with the longest range. In the future, customers can cover even more kilometers without recharging: Thanks to an increased battery capacity from 108.4 to 118 kWh, the maximum range, for example, for the EQS 450 4MATIC increases from 717 to 799 kilometers. This means an increase in range of more than 11 percent. The EQS 450+ even exceeds the 800-kilometer mark with a range of 683-822 kilometers. Mercedes-Benz has increased the towing capacity for the EQS and EQE sedans with 4MATIC from 750 to 1,700 kilograms. This puts them at a similar level to the SUV derivatives. Customers can now, for example, also tow a horse trailer. Another technical measure: Due to high recuperation rates in daily operation, the brake discs are used less frequently than in combustion engine models. Therefore, a special function will now maintain the brake system by automatically applying the pads to the discs from time to time.
