The new BMW X3 - Increased presence through upright front and new BMW kidney

The front of the new BMW X3 radiates a significantly increased presence. The large and divided BMW kidney is primarily responsible for this, in addition to the upright stature. Its new design is particularly emphasized with the optional contour lighting BMW Iconic Glow, which encases both kidney elements continuously and is combined with the dynamic light carpet. Inside the BMW kidney, a novel structure of vertically and diagonally running bars sets another fresh accent. Camera and radar sensors for the driver assistance systems are discreetly integrated into the largely closed BMW kidney, which is equipped with active cooling air flaps only in the lower section. Below the BMW kidney, a wide, also divided air intake separates the front apron, characterized by homogeneous surfaces, from the road surface. It is framed in the lower area by a satin-finished aluminum accent strip. Like the front apron, the wide hood of the new BMW X3, which extends over the side walls, also has a clear and generous surface design. In its center, the BMW logo is applied in a precise embossing above the BMW kidney.
