The new Mercedes-Benz G-Class seamlessly continues the success story of the series established since 1979. The off-road icon still relies on the proven ladder frame concept, three mechanical differential locks, and the LOW RANGE terrain reduction as well as a solid rear axle and independent front suspension. The newly designed off-road control unit, the new OFFROAD COCKPIT, and the 'Transparent Hood' enable a digital off-road experience. Thanks to electrification, the new models offer improved responsiveness off-road and more comfort on paved roads. The mild hybrids with Integrated Starter-Generator (ISG) and 48-volt electrical system also impress with increased performance while reducing consumption. With the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system and a 12.3-inch driver and media display with touch control, the new G-Class is more connected than ever. Enhanced safety and assistance systems support drivers. The MANUFAKTUR offer for extensive customization of the exterior and interior has been further expanded. Slightly modified exterior with a new grille with four instead of the previous three horizontal slats and newly designed bumpers at the front and rear. New A-pillar cladding, a spoiler lip on the roof trim, and new insulation materials contribute to improved aerodynamics and increased noise comfort.
