World premiere in Marrakech: The Ferrari Roma Spider, the latest model from Maranello, was presented to customers from around the world at an exclusive event at El Badi Palace. A timelessly elegant high-performance vehicle, the Ferrari Roma Spider delivers a modern interpretation of the Italian lifestyle of the 1950s and 60s, which was characterized by chic and pleasure. The new Spider inherits proportions, volume and specifications from the highly successful Ferrari Roma V8 2+ concept. What sets it apart is the soft top: 54 years after the appearance of the 365 GTS4 in 1969, the Cavallino Rampante is once again presenting this solution in a front-engined model. A novel and modern interpretation of the soft-top design emphatically underscores the exuberant and boisterous character of the Ferrari Roma Spider - rounded off by wide-ranging options for personalization, such as sophisticatedly woven, tailor-made fabrics and elegant contrast stitching. Among the functional qualities of the new Spider is the fact that the soft top can be retracted in just 13.5 seconds - and at up to 60 km/h. The compact dimensions of the roof also benefit the trunk space and versatility of the newcomer. A newly developed, patented wind deflector has been integrated into the backrest of the rear seat. It can be extended at the push of a button on the center tunnel and guarantees maximum comfort without taking up too much space.
