The exterior design has been revised to provide greater differentiation between the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport. A characteristic feature of both models is the wide chrome-plated four-bar grille framed by LED headlights with the new standard Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS). On nearly all trim lines, the daytime running lights (DRLs) are laid out around the headlights and continue in a continuous light strip that connects to the illuminated VW logo. This gives the vehicle an unmistakable premium look. A new front apron with integrated air intakes rounds off the appearance. The Atlas Cross Sport models are further differentiated from the Atlas by gloss black grille details and a gloss black "X" design element that extends across the lower apron. At the rear, both models feature a larger spoiler that extends the vehicles' roofline and gives them a sleek side profile. In nearly all trim levels, the front light signature is also reflected in the rear with an illuminated light bar and VW logo positioned between the LED taillights. The Atlas Cross Sport also impresses with an expressive rear diffuser. New wheel designs are also available for the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport in sizes ranging from 18 to 20 inches. The R-Line trim line offers a gloss black grille, 21-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and the characteristic R-Line logos.
Mercedes-Maybach is expanding its product portfolio with a fourth model – the new Mercedes‑Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is the sportiest model in the brand’s history to date. The open-top two-seater interprets the iconic silhouette of the SL in an extraordinary way. Athletic proportions merge with exquisite aesthetics and maximum comfort. The Mercedes‑Maybach SL opens up a whole new world of cruising in the open air. It combines a dynamic driving experience with everything that characterises a Mercedes‑Maybach: skilled craftsmanship, high-quality materials and exquisite design details. In line with the brand philosophy, it offers a holistic, sensual experience. The market launch in Europe has already begun with other markets to follow successively. The Mercedes-Maybach SL is an extraordinary combination of beauty and sportiness. This is notably expressed by the two curated design concepts: “White Ambience” presents itself in a new interpretation of the typical Maybach two-colour paintwork with obsidian black metallic in the upper section of the vehicle and MANUFAKTUR opalite white magno in the lower section. In “Red Ambience,” obsidian black metallic contrasts elegantly with MANUFAKTUR garnet red metallic. Developed for the first time for the new Mercedes‑Maybach two-seater, this tinted clearcoat is characterised by its vibrant, rich colour and a special depth effect. The interior conveys a special feeling of lightness and space. The extensive use of crystal white, sustainably tanned MANUFAKTUR Exclusive Nappa leather creates an airy, elegant ambience. It not only enhances the seats in their new, floral design but also the door panels, the centre console and the space behind the seats. This creates a generous feeling of roominess and, at the same time, the typical Maybach cocooning effect. The galvanised seat backrests and trim parts in silver chrome provide a glamorous contrast. The elaborate upholstery of the seat surface and backrest, typical of the brand, ensures maximum seating comfort. The seat side panels are lowered for easy entry and exit.
As standard, the S-Class is equipped with Active Parking Assist with a reversing camera, and on request this can be combined with a 360° camera. In the S-Class, all the information from all sensors and cameras is fusioned. This enables more parking spaces to be recognised and offered. Parking spaces defined by lines (not by vehicles) can also be used for automated parking for the first time.
