The new BMW X7 - Adaptive chassis and adaptive two-axle air suspension as standard

Źródło:: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

The chassis technology of the new BMW X7 is based on the proven combination of a double-wishbone front axle and a five-link rear axle. This design principle ensures precise wheel control, stable straight-line stability and excellent roll support in bends. Ride comfort also benefits from minimized lateral force effects on the shock absorbers. The electronically controlled dampers fitted as standard in the new BMW X7 promote both driving dynamics and ride comfort. Electromagnetically adjustable hydraulic valves ensure coupled rebound and compression settings depending on the driving situation. The shock absorbers adaptively adjust to the road surface and driving style. The driver can also activate a sporty or a comfort-optimized shock absorber characteristic via the various driving experience modes.
