The Audi RS 4 Avant - Muscular - the exterior design

Źródło:: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

The front end of the RS 4 Avant stands for uncompromising sportiness. In this respect, the RS 4 Avant clearly differentiates itself from the A4 and S4 Avant. The single-frame is wider and flatter compared with the basic model. Like its big RS brothers RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback, the RS 4 Avant also gets the typical RS three-dimensional honeycomb structure in gloss black. The frameless single-frame ensures a sporty look reduced to the essentials. The honeycomb grille with RS 4 emblem is set directly into the bumper with its large side air intakes and vertical flaps. The optional Matrix LED headlights with darkened bezels complete the face of the high-performance Avant and differentiate it within the A4 family. The wheel arches with the quattro blisters above them are 30 millimeters wider on each side at the front and rear compared with the Audi A4 Avant. Glossy black design elements located directly next to the headlights underscore the RS 4 Avant's width effect. The Glossy Black, Matt Aluminum and Carbon and Matt Carbon (exclusive to competition packages and bronze Audi exclusive style package) visual packages add individual accents to the inlay in the sill, the exterior mirror housings and the front and rear bumpers. For the gloss black and carbon optics packages, the Audi rings and the RS lettering on the front and rear are also available in black on request. For more understatement, the RS badges are omitted completely if desired. The roof rails are finished in matte black as standard. The RS-specific roof edge spoiler and diffuser insert as well as the oval chrome tailpipes of the RS exhaust system form the striking finish. The optional RS sports exhaust systems with black tailpipe trims provide a particularly sporty sound experience. The driver decides for himself/herself whether the sound should be present or discreet via the Audi drive select dynamic handling system.
