Nissan Juke Hybrid Rally Tribute - Rally-inspired modifications

Just like the Gripz concept car Nissan unveiled at the 2015 IAA, the Juke Hybrid Rally Tribute's design borrows from the iconic 240Z that successfully competed in the challenging East African Safari Rally over half a century ago. The most noticeable modifications are the enlarged wheel arches to accommodate the custom off-road tires, while the addition of headlights on the hood and roof are reminiscent of those from 50 years ago. In homage to the 1971 240Z, the Juke's hood and wheels are finished in black. In addition, the model is equipped with the sponsor logos of the time and the legendary starting number 11. With underbody protection under the front and rear skirts and a reinforced suspension with a longer stroke, the Juke Hybrid Rally Tribute is impressive on any terrain. A tubular steel cage in the interior provides an even stiffer body and offers protection in the event of an accident, even at high speed. Four-point seat belts for the driver and front passenger also ensure this. The rear seats have been removed to make room for spare wheels. Other interior modifications include a fire extinguisher, an intercom system with headphones for easier communication between driver and passenger, an Alcantara steering wheel and a hydraulic handbrake with a high-mounted handle for quick and easy operation.
