Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron - recuperation

In 90 percent of all braking situations, the Audi Q8 e-tron's disc brakes do not come into play. The reason: the intelligent recuperation concept. Up to a deceleration of the vehicle of 0.3 g, the system recuperates without using the conventional brake exclusively via the e-machines, which then work as generators and convert the kinetic energy into electrical energy. The degree of thrust recuperation can be adjusted in three stages via paddles on the steering wheel if desired.
