Americans David Baker and John Jumper and Briton Demis Hassabis are announced as the 2024 chemistry Nobel laureates. Baker was given half the award "for computational protein design", while Hassabis and Jumper shared the other half "for protein structure prediction," says Hans Ellegren in Stockholm, Secretary General of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
