Over 1,000 sheep take over central Madrid in annual livestock parade

More than 1,400 animals brought traffic to a standstill in central Madrid on Sunday, as 1,250 sheep and 160 goats paraded through the city during its annual Transhumance Festival. This year's route was diverted around a protest camp at the Puerta del Sol.
