Cessna jet slides off runway and crashes onto Kentucky golf course
A Cessna 525B business jet skidded off the runway at Bowman Field airport in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 7, coming to rest on Seneca Golf Course. The jet broke through a fence before stopping about 370 feet from the runway. All four people on board – two pilots and two passengers – escaped without injury. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause amid reports of heavy rain in the area.
