Smoke rises in northern Gaza, seen from southern Israel, as the Israeli military says it has reinstated the Gaza ceasefire after carrying out a series of strikes on dozens of militant targets since Tuesday. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte says that the United States is "totally committed" to the alliance's mutual defence clause, after President Donald Trump appeared to cast doubt on it. SOUNDBITE
"It's really working out incredibly well," says US President Donald Trump, speaking at the signing ceremony for a declaration meant to cement a ceasefire in Gaza. Sitting alongside Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Trump says "we're really representative of a whole group of nations," before gesturing to the world leaders seated behind him and adding "they are among the most powerful countries in the world, the richest countries in the world."
