Former French Prime Minister Edouard Balladur visits former President Nicolas Sarkozy at his home on the eve of his incarceration at La Sante prison. Nicolas Sarkozy was sentenced on 25 September to five years in prison for criminal conspiracy. The court found him guilty of allowing his closest associates to strike a pact with Muammar Gaddafi's Libya in order to secretly finance his 2007 presidential campaign. IMAGES
