Any attempt by Israel to annex land in Gaza would be "unacceptable," the UK's Middle East minister tells parliament as the Israeli army prepares to broaden its assault. "We strongly oppose the expansion of Israel's operations. Any attempt to annex land in Gaza would be unacceptable," minister Hamish Falconer says. SOUNDBITE
