Israeli ground troops enter southern Lebanon

The Israeli army launched a "limited and targeted" ground operation against the pro-Iranian Hezbollah in southern Lebanon during the night. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin explicitly warned Hezbollah supporter Iran of serious consequences in the event of a direct attack on Israel.
