Two injured in head-on collision on the L594 near Wiesloch

Wiesloch/ Rhein-Neckar-Kreis: On Tuesday shortly after 6 a.m., there was a head-on collision on the L594 between the Wiesloch Südtangente and Frauenweiler. A VW traveling in the direction of Frauenweiler turned left from the L 594 into Malschenberger Gässle. The vehicle collided with a BMW traveling in the direction of Wiesloch. Both parties were injured in the head-on collision and were taken to hospital. The severity of the injuries is not yet known. The force of the collision caused one of the cars to be thrown onto a third car. Fortunately, the occupants were uninjured. The VW and the BMW had to be towed away. The road had to be cleaned due to spilled fuel, which is why the section of the L 594 between the junction of Lerchenweg in Frauenweiler and the slip road to the L 723 near Wiesloch is currently closed for more than three hours.
