Protests in Israel after first approval of Knesset for judicial reform

The Israeli parliament has approved a core element of the controversial judicial reform in a first reading. To pass the law, a second and a third reading are still required. Opponents of the judicial reform demonstrated in front of the Knesset, and in the morning, a highway near Jerusalem was blocked.
