Habeck on wind power targets: "A sporty announcement, but an announcement that is achievable"

Federal Economics Minister Robert Habeck (Greens) believes the German government is well on its way to achieving its targets for expanding wind power. According to Habeck, the current addition of onshore wind turbines must be quadrupled to meet these targets. He said it is advantageous that an "enormous increase in performance" has been achieved with the turbines. "That's why I'm firmly convinced that it's a sporting challenge, but a challenge that can be met," Habeck said.
