In Austria, around half a million people live with asthma bronchiale (leadstudy.at) – a rising trend. On the occasion of World Asthma Day on May 6, the Vienna Health Association, with its Vienna Pneumology Network consisting of the lung departments of the Hietzing, Ottakring, Floridsdorf clinics, and the Penzing location of the Ottakring Clinic, focuses on the chronic lung disease.
