Two horizontally arranged star emblems within the headlights define the new light signature. A "black panel" element integrates the new headlights and the larger radiator grille into a harmonious whole. The illuminated central star is set within a large, also-illuminated chrome frame and surrounded by a Mercedes-Benz pattern. The front apron has also been given a new look, featuring modified lower air intakes with high-gloss black flics and chrome slats. At the rear, two stylized, three-dimensional star emblems within the taillights underscore the sporty character of the SUV coupé. A new 20-inch AMG-design wheel with double spokes has been added to the range of options. The new GLE Coupé features the latest generation of DIGITAL LIGHT technology, utilizing micro-LEDs and a high-performance chip. This increases the high-resolution illumination area by approximately 40 percent, resulting in significantly brighter high beams. At the same time, the light module consumes up to 50 percent less energy than its predecessor. DIGITAL LIGHT with projection functionality can project guide lines, symbols, and animations onto the road, further enhancing driving safety. Both DIGITAL LIGHT and the version with projection functionality are available as factory-installed optional equipment. If the GLE Coupé is equipped with the DIGITAL LIGHT hardware, the projection feature can even be activated as a "digital extra" after the vehicle has been purchased.
