The Škoda Enyaq model year 2024 - more powerful drives, faster charging, and even higher range

Škoda Auto is extensively upgrading the Enyaq model family for the 2024 model year. For the first time, the popular electric SUV is now also available in the generously equipped Laurin & Klement version. The technical upgrades include more powerful drives, shorter battery charging times, and longer ranges. In addition, new software features and an even more intuitive user interface are making their way into the Škoda Enyaq. For the 2024 model year, the more powerful and efficient model versions Enyaq 85 and 85x replace the previous versions 80 and 80x. Just like the particularly sporty RS models, they derive their power increase from a new drivetrain with an advanced permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle, enabling a top speed of 180 km/h. The Enyaq 85 increases by 60 kW to 210 kW1/2 compared to the previous Enyaq 80, while the all-wheel-drive variant Enyaq 85x also provides 210 kW1, 15 kW more than its predecessor. The Enyaq RS now offers 250 kW1 peak power, an increase of 30 kW over the previous model. An optimized battery with enhanced thermal management now enables ranges of over 560 kilometers for the Enyaq 85 and over 570 kilometers for the Enyaq Coupé 853. The base version Enyaq 60 remains unchanged technically. For all 2024 variants: The Škoda lettering on the tailgate and all logos correspond to the new Škoda brand identity, and the 'iV' suffix in the model designation is dropped. The batteries of the all-wheel-drive versions Enyaq 85x and Enyaq RS can now be charged even faster. At appropriately equipped fast charging stations, a higher DC charging power of up to 175 kW is now possible. The 82 kWh high-voltage battery (77 kWh net capacity) can thus be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 28 minutes. The process is eight minutes or 22 percent faster than before. The rear-wheel-drive Enyaq 85 variants continue to charge at a maximum of 135 kW.
