Marc Lichte, Head of Design at Audi, provides some insights into the design process of the three show cars Audi grandsphere concept, Audi skysphere concept and Audi urbansphere concept.
The Venue provides an interior personality with purposeful design selections including standout denim-inspired leatherette and fabric seats featuring an all-blue interior option. The Venue was selected from a field of 32 vehicle nominees with new or significantly redesigned interiors. Vehicles were evaluated by eight Wards editors in Southfield, MI, and scored on aesthetics, comfort, fit-and-finish, material quality and ergonomics. While affordability is a consideration, there is no price cap for entries. Venue is built in Ulsan, Korea and is on sale at Hyundai dealerships across the country.

With the BMW i Vision Circular, the BMW Group is demonstrating the consistent design of a car according to the principles of a circular economy. The overall design goal of this visionary vehicle was to create a vehicle that is optimized for closed material cycles and achieves a rate of 100% recycled materials or 100% recyclability. In addition to bio-based and certified raw materials, materials that have already passed through a product life cycle – so-called secondary materials – are used for this purpose. This also applies to the energy storage system: The solid-state battery of the BMW i Vision Circular is 100% recyclable and almost completely made from recycled materials. At the same time, it will achieve a considerably higher energy density with significantly fewer of the most valuable resources. “We have included circularity in our concept right from the start when designing the BMW i Vision Circular. That's why this visionary vehicle is full of innovative ideas that combine sustainability with new and inspiring aesthetics – we call this approach Circular Design,” explains Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design. Circular Design is based on the four principles RE:THINK, RE:DUCE, RE:USE and RE:CYCLE.
Alpine's second all-electric model, the A390, joins the A290 in the brand's Dream Garage. The A390 is a 5-seat sport fastback with the agility and performance of the A110. Thanks to its onboard technology, three motors and Alpine engineering magic, the A390 embodies Alpine's DNA in a passion-filled vehicle that will take on winding mountain roads without shying away from its competitors on the track. The A390's platform is sourced from Ampere and includes charging services developed by Mobilize Power Solutions, such as bidirectional V2G charging, as part of a comprehensive electric ecosystem for an optimal experience. The Alpine A390 is designed and manufactured in France at the brand's historic factory, the Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé. It will be available from the fourth quarter of 2025. At launch, the A390 price in GT and GTS versions will range from €65,000 to €76,000. Final prices will be announced when orders open in each country. The Alpine A390 Première pass will provide initial buyers priority access to orders for their A390.
