The BMW Group now offers the world's largest selection of premium cars with an electrified drive system. There are 21 electrified models (Full Electric and Plug-in Hybrid) and 71 with 48-volt Mild Hybrid technology available on the Italian market. With a ten-year sustainability plan, the BMW Group is underscoring its commitment to the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement by focusing primarily on expanding electric mobility. Today, BMW and MINI brands with all-electric and plug-in hybrid drive systems already account for around 13.3 percent of all new registrations across Europe (source: IHS Markit New Registrations Report July 2020). This corresponds to 1.5 times the average share of all brands, which is around 8 percent. The Group expects this figure to rise to a quarter by 2021, a third by 2025 and 50 % by 2030.
