A new yacht wears its eco-credentials on its sleeve by being covered in solar panels. The 60 Sunreef Power Eco is a versatile eco-responsible motoryacht offering complete freedom of customisation. Poland’s Sunreef Yachts’ state-of-art solar power system covers up to 68,6m² of surface on board. Solar panels are fully-integrated with hull sides, superstructure and curved areas all over. Sunreef say the vessel offers endless layout options and "an infinite choice of decors".
A superyacht inspired by a crab has been developed. The 'Pagurus' is a solar-powered amphibious catamaran. It features special rotating cylinders that lower to enable it to travel on land. The so-called 'Crabmaran' version is able to move on sand or mud at up to 30 km/h. Italy’s Lazzarini design studio say the vessel has a two-year build time. Prospective buyers can expect to pay up to €24M for the amphibious 'Crabmaran' model.
A range of E-BIKES have been created for Parisian Emergency Doctors. They will help them move faster through congested streets. French E-BIKE retailer ECOX has partnered with WPP AGENCY, Wunderman Thompson Paris, to create the 'ambulance on two wheels'. The vehicles are designed to drive up to 160 km. and feature a KM 140 db. horn and long range led signalling for emergency driving. Designed exclusively for doctor's needs, the first fleet of emergency bikes were deployed in early September.
