In recent weeks, wolf sightings have been increasing in Ostallgäu - and recently also the suspicion that the wolf may have killed livestock. In one case, the authorities now believe that a wolf was responsible. That's why Allgäu farmers are on high alert. Because the concern for their herds is growing - and with it the discussion of how to reconcile pasture farming and wolf protection. The Free State is currently working on a new hunting law that could change the way wolves are handled in the future.
