Agreement on gas and electricity price brake - 49-euro ticket is coming

The federal government and states have agreed with Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) on a gas and electricity price brake. The cap on gas prices will be twelve cents per kilowatt-hour, and on electricity prices, it will be 40 cents. It is still unclear when it will be implemented.
