Volvo Cars is introducing a range of updates to its entire car line-up, the most prominent of which is an exterior refresh of its fully electric XC40 Recharge. The company also unveils a single electric motor variant of the pure electric C40 Recharge. The new C40 and XC40 variants, along with all other new Volvo Cars’ models, will be available through an updated offer concept, designed to make the online ordering process of Volvo cars easier and more convenient. Volvo customers will now be able to choose between different equipment levels and select the options that best suit their personal needs. The new offer structure reflects Volvo Cars’ ambitions to increase price transparency, as well as reduce complexity in its model offering by focusing on attractive pre-selected variants.

Honda has given its popular Civic e:HEV a refresh, introducing updated interior styling and exterior design changes, alongside unchanged hybrid performance. The result is a clear evolution of Honda’s iconic hybrid hatchback – refined in response to customer feedback, while retaining the versatility, efficiency and dynamic performance that drivers expect. Every Civic grade now features a redesigned, more assertive front upper and lower grille, highlighted in black gloss and finished with a new grille and headlight garnish for a sharper, sportier look. The sculpted front bumper incorporates bolder character lines and a new body colour lower bumper spoiler, giving the model a more premium, athletic stance. New 18-inch two-tone, diamond cut alloy wheels in grey for Advance grade and black in Sport grade models add a further dynamic edge to the Civic’s striking exterior, alongside the high black gloss finish of the door garnish. In addition, all grades will no longer have front fog lights to further streamline the design, made possible by improved LED headlight technology to ensure optimal visibility is maintained. To complement these upgrades, a new exterior paint option is now available in Seabed Blue, replacing Premium Crystal Blue, which further highlights the Civic’s sleek, aerodynamic profile.
In many ways, the Volvo C40 Recharge represents the future of Volvo Cars: it is the first Volvo model in history designed as pure electric only, and will be offered online with a convenient Care offer. Its SUV elements and benefits combined with a lower profile means that Volvo Cars also enters a new segment – and it does so with cutting-edge design and features not previously seen on Volvo cars. Built upon the fundamental building blocks of the XC40, the C40 gives the same sense of power and strong character as its sibling while adding athleticism and lightness. This idea of breaking new ground with something familiar is mirrored in individual details: the signature Thor’s Hammer headlights are augmented with new pixel LEDs, which automatically adjust to light conditions and switch on and off independently to optimise the light pattern. The equally emblematic vertical rear lights are now segmented, providing a testament to the engineering challenge of extending one big lamp along the roof line, while also creating a modern take on a classic design.
