Źródło:: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

The new Subaru SOLTERRA offers excellent safety: the all-wheel-drive brand's first electric SUV scores five out of five stars in the latest Euro NCAP crash test - it doesn't get any better than that. The all-electric vehicle exceeds the minimum requirements of the independent testing organization in all four test categories - for adult and child occupant protection as well as for vulnerable road users and safety systems. In particular, in the assistants, the SOLTERRA scores 91 percent, more than any Subaru in this vehicle class before. Thanks to the standard Attention and Drowsiness Alert, which sounds the alarm when the driver is distracted or drowsy, and other features, it gets the highest score for occupant protection. The emergency braking system with integrated collision warning, which detects pedestrians and cyclists in front of one's own vehicle in addition to other motorized road users, and the active lane departure warning system also receive top marks. The SOLTERRA comes with a comprehensive arsenal of safety systems: In addition to the aforementioned assistants, the standard equipment also includes, for example, adaptive distance and speed control, traffic sign recognition, adaptive high beam as well as lane change, blind spot and cross traffic assist. Roadside detection with steering assistance, which is also standard, also registers natural driving limits and keeps the SUV in its lane.
