'Miguel is a warrior': wife of wounded Colombian senator speaks out as nation faces "war"

"Miguel is a warrior. He keeps fighting for his life," says the wife of Colombian senator and presidential hopeful Miguel Uribe, currently hospitalized after being shot twice in the head at a political rally. "The country is at war. Just as my family, my children and myself are going through dark moments, thousands of Colombians are currently suffering the terrible circumstances and consequences of war," adds Maria Claudia Tarazona, speaking to the media outside the clinic.
