Audi sphere - First Class to the power of three

With the three concept cars Audi skysphere, Audi grandsphere and Audi urbansphere, the brand with the four rings illustrates its vision of the premium mobility of tomorrow. They open up a world of experience that goes far beyond the purpose-bound stay on board, beyond mundane transportation from A to B. Sphere number 1: In August 2021, the electrically powered roadster Audi skysphere concept made its debut - the spectacular vision of an automated driving GT that transforms into a self-driven sports car with a variable wheelbase. Just a few weeks later, Audi unveiled the second model in the sphere series, the Audi grandsphere concept, at the IAA 2021. This four-seater large sedan illustrated the brand's claim to define progressive luxury of the future. What both studies have in common with the Audi urbansphere is the derivation of the entire concept from the ability to drive automatically at Level 4. A technology that Audi is working toward introducing in the second half of the decade together with CARIAD, the Volkswagen Group's software company.
