The BMW Group is continuing its current electrification offensive with two particularly fascinating new models. The BMW iX is the company's new technology flagship and is based on a new future modular system whose considerable potential for innovation in the areas of automated driving, operation, connectivity and digital services leads to an experience of premium mobility that is unique in the competitive environment. It combines the proportions of a modern Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) with exceptionally luxurious interior comfort. With the BMW i4, all-electric mobility reaches the premium mid-size segment and thus the core of the BMW brand. The sporty, elegant Gran Coupé embodies locally emission-free driving pleasure in a particularly dynamic form. The first BMW M automobile with an electrified drive system, the BMW i4 M50, provides a special performance experience. The BMW iX will be produced at the BMW Group Plant Dingolfing, while the BMW i4 will be built at the BMW Group Plant Munich. Both models will be launched on the market from November 2021, with the BMW i4 thus being launched around three months earlier than originally planned.
