The 100,000th iV vehicle rolled off the assembly line at ŠKODA AUTO's main plant today - an ENYAQ iV. The Czech automobile manufacturer uses the “iV” badge to mark models that have a partially electric or fully electric drive train. ŠKODA AUTO currently produces three iV series: the plug-in hybrids ŠKODA SUPERB iV and ŠKODA OCTAVIA iV as well as the fully electric ŠKODA ENYAQ iV. ŠKODA will bring at least three more all-electric models onto the market by 2030. By 2030, ŠKODA will add at least three more all-electric models to its product portfolio, which will be positioned below the ENYAQ iV in terms of price and size. The brand is aiming for a share of fully electric models in Europe of 50 to 70 percent, depending on market developments. ŠKODA AUTO heralded the era of electromobility in September 2019 with the production of the plug-in hybrid SUPERB iV and the all-electric CITIGOe iV. In September 2020, the Czech automobile manufacturer then took the largest step to date in implementing its electromobility strategy with the ENYAQ iV - the brand's first fully electric series vehicle based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform
