These are the safest and most dangerous vacation destinations in 2024

Anyone planning their vacation for the new year should find out exactly what the security risks are. One company assigns five categories. According to the so-called Risk Map, Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Mali, Ethiopia and Somalia, among others, have the highest of 5 warning levels. Due to the war in Ukraine and the war in Israel, travel to these countries is also strongly discouraged. The safest countries to travel to, however, are Switzerland, Luxembourg, the Scandinavian countries and Canada. Germany has not been classified in this category. Just like the USA, Cuba, Argentina, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, Germany is a safe destination, but poses a low risk to tourists.
