Amazon: Largest snake in the world discovered

A new gigantic snake species has been discovered in the Amazon. It belongs to the anaconda family and can grow up to 7.5 meters long and weigh up to 500 kilograms. The new species has been named the Northern Green Anaconda by the researchers. It is genetically slightly different from other anaconda species. The discovery was made as part of a "National Geographic" documentary in Ecuador.
