Murder trial in Innsbruck: Truck driver stabs colleague to death

A 36-year-old truck driver from Poland was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder on Wednesday at the Innsbruck Regional Court. The man was accused of killing a 35-year-old compatriot with twelve stab wounds after an argument in May 2023 at a highway parking lot in Inzing (Innsbruck-Land). He had partially recanted a confession he had previously made at the start of the trial.
