Third place in Garmisch: Wellinger continues to lead the tour

Andreas Wellinger took third place in the New Year's competition of the 72nd Four Hills Tournament and thus successfully defended his overall lead. The winner in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was Anze Lanisek from Slovenia ahead of Ryoyu Kobayashi from Japan. The German ski jumpers must therefore continue to wait for their first victory in "GAP" since Sven Hannawald on January 1, 2002.
