The new Volkswagen Passat - Efficient driving - eight drive systems for all application scenarios

The Passat will be available with eight different drive systems: a new mild hybrid petrol engine (eTSI), two new plug-in hybrid drive systems (eHybrid), three turbo diesel engines (TDI) and two turbo petrol engines (TSI). All drive systems are coupled to a dual-clutch gearbox (DSG) as standard. The eTSI develops an output of 110 kW (150 PS). In addition to the eTSI, the TDI with 110 kW (150 PS) can already be configured. The other engine versions will follow in the first half of the year. Two power levels will be available with 4MOTION all-wheel drive as standard.
