New Hyundai KONA - Fresh wind in the B-SUV segment

Hyundai Motor has presented the new Hyundai KONA at a digital world premiere. The second-generation KONA offers one of the most comprehensive product packages in the B-SUV segment, including the widest range of powertrain options. For example, customers can choose between a battery electric version (EV) with two different battery sizes, a full hybrid (HEV) and an internal combustion engine (ICE) variant. In the new KONA model generation, all drive variants will also be available as the sporty N Line equipment line. In an unconventional move, Hyundai has initially developed the new KONA in the electric variant. This reflects Hyundai's electrification strategy announced in March 2022, under which the company will launch eleven new EV models by 2030. With its robust, dynamic design and increased dimensions, the new Hyundai KONA retains its iconic character and supports an active lifestyle for customers of all ages and generations. It also offers new technologies and convenience features that enable a safe, connected and comfortable mobility experience. New features include two 12.3-inch panoramic displays, the digital vehicle key (Digital Key 2 Touch), over-the-air updates (OTA) and the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) with a new software platform including a new layout for the cockpit and navigation.
