The new Mazda CX-60 - The cockpit design

The Mazda CX-60 features the same carefully considered cockpit design as all new Mazda vehicles. The horizontally symmetrical layout puts the driver front and center. The ergono- mically excellent driving position feels natural and supportive, allowing the driver to focus on the road and traffic. The enhanced seats make it easier for occupants to maintain their natural sense of balance (see Driving dynamics). In addition, the seat height can be adjusted without having to either change the body posture or subsequently also adjust the seat length. The steering wheel can be electrically adjusted in inclination by 45 mm and in depth by 70 mm. Thanks to the slim design of the eight-speed automatic transmission, the width of the transmission tunnel has been reduced to a minimum. As a result, the pedals and driver's seat could be ideally positioned even for taller people; there is also sufficient knee room next to the center console.
